they call me... tim

i know i should use capital letters, but i am not a fan of what it does to the letter
"I", in most cases. if i had to decide between a tree that grew time
and a tree that grew money, i would honestly have to sit and think about which
to pick the fruit from. i do not eat fruit. nope. ask me again and i'll tell
you the same. i don't eat fruit and i don't eat seafood. i like to think i am
not "picky" because i knock out whole food groups at a time. i've
been told i have a dry sense of humor. i've also been told i look like howie
mandel. i'm not sure if that is a compliment. i am uber-blessed to have a wife
who "deals with me"... though she may run into eye trouble one day
for how much she rolls her eyes at my antics.

i love to take photos. i love what they capture of my life and your lives. and then i
love to take those moments and "paint" on them... to reflect some of
the emotion that is already there in a unique way.

add this page to your bookmarks. i will continue to show sneak previews of what i am working
on as well as session summaries. you will also find random promotions and
discounts, as well as sporadic views into my and my family's life.

kristen: a belly out and about

when my wife told me that her friend wanted to have me take pictures of her shortly before her due date, i was thrilled for the honor and the opportunity. i got into “meeting of the minds” mode with kristen to find out what direction she wanted to go with the photos. when she said “outside, in nature” the thrill i felt before was multiplied exponentially (word of the day and triple letter score on that one!). a location i had been eyeballing for nearly two years was finally going to be claimed, by me, like Aldrin and Armstrong… flag in hand. won’t you go there with us now? let’s….

the sun was at just the perfect spot. isn’t nature awesome that way?

kristen01

if you really want to get cheesy with me, you can call that SONflare for now.

kristen03

as the sun got closer to going behind the hills, we packed it up and made a dash for the beach. we didn’t need to wait for long, as the sun began setting and illuminating everything in that perfect way…

along came mister seagull, clearly intending to co-star in a shot or two. if not for kristen and the beautiful sunset, i would almost be one to say he stole the scene here. almost.

kristen05

it was almost as if we were on some far-off tropical island somewhere. just gorgeous to the umpteenth degree!

kristen and her husband are now parents of quite the cute little boy. these were taken quite some time ago this year, but it is still fun to look back at these.

thanks again kristen for putting yourself in my trust that day. i had a blast shooting and could not imagine a better mama-to-be for such a beautiful day!!
