they call me... tim

i know i should use capital letters, but i am not a fan of what it does to the letter
"I", in most cases. if i had to decide between a tree that grew time
and a tree that grew money, i would honestly have to sit and think about which
to pick the fruit from. i do not eat fruit. nope. ask me again and i'll tell
you the same. i don't eat fruit and i don't eat seafood. i like to think i am
not "picky" because i knock out whole food groups at a time. i've
been told i have a dry sense of humor. i've also been told i look like howie
mandel. i'm not sure if that is a compliment. i am uber-blessed to have a wife
who "deals with me"... though she may run into eye trouble one day
for how much she rolls her eyes at my antics.

i love to take photos. i love what they capture of my life and your lives. and then i
love to take those moments and "paint" on them... to reflect some of
the emotion that is already there in a unique way.

add this page to your bookmarks. i will continue to show sneak previews of what i am working
on as well as session summaries. you will also find random promotions and
discounts, as well as sporadic views into my and my family's life.

emil & joanie: all you need is love (part 1)

joanie was referred to me by a good friend (thanks again, gillian!!). it was always discussed as more of “event photography” than a wedding type day. they would be getting married in a small ceremony at their new home with family and a few friends attending. the reception and photos of everyone in attendance was...

laurie & dwight: holiday wedding

my communication with the bride over emails was fairly intriguing. the usual inquiries were made, details exchanged… and after some time, she hinted that we know each other. i had to rack my brain to recall all of the laura’s and laurie’s i have known over the course of my lifetime. when i was a...

every little bit counts: haiti relief effort

as a human, the disasters that are hitting our planet of late are making me ill with grief. it makes me sad for the families affected. for the immediate, and for the economic and health struggles that will certainly plague the area for years, possibly decades to come. i know that i am only one...

m & k: a lovelight through the fog

as i drove westward to the beach for this shoot, somewhere in laguna canyon, i entered this thick blanket of fog. a misty fog. behind me were blue skies and sunshine. i heard it was cold at the beach, but did not expect such a fog monster to gobble me up. i text my wife...
